Lopusnak joins Racanelli as assistant project manager

Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. has appointed John Lopusnak as an assistant project manager. He brings over 13 years of professional experience in architecture, construction management and general contracting, inclusive of project planning and management, budget management, purchasing and estimating, materials procurement and vendor/subcontractor and client relations. Directly prior to joining Racanelli Construction, Lopusnak served as junior project manager for J. Kokolakis Contracting. There he served on major projects such as the Old Westbury College Exterior Envelope Project and the Stony Brook University's Old Chemistry Building Project. For these projects, he performed take-offs and estimates, processed purchased orders for material procurement, managed construction scheduled, processed changed orders and payment applications, and updated monthly project reports. In addition to his role at Kokolakis, Lopusnak served as an intern architect at DeBlasio Capo Design Build where he developed and drafted construction documents, performed as an on-site construction administrator for various projects, created architectural designs, and collaborated with professional trade personnel to ensure that construction adhered to plan specifications. His professional career also includes his position as an intern architect with Alec Klee Galli Architects. Lopusnak holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute.
