LIREG members participate in Marcum Workplace Challenge at Jones Beach

LIREG members successfully participated in the Marcum Workplace Challenge's 3.5 mile run/walk at Jones Beach. This was LIREG's inaugural participation in the event which is billed as Long Island's largest corporate picnic. The 25 LIREG stalwarts were joined by over 7,300 participants from 200 companies. Their tent was well-stocked with food, beverages and live music by Judith Zweiman. Deserving special recognition are the top three male finishers - Sean Cronin (28 minutes 30 seconds), Craig Weiss (29.30) and Lee Passavia (29.39); and the top three female finishers - Lauren Mancuso (28 minutes 20 seconds), Fran Piccone (34.19), and Judy Einbinder (35.13). LIREG thanks all those who attended our inaugural participation in the challenge and looks forward to an even bigger LIREG turnout next year.
