Licht of NAI Mertz reps buyer in $5.05m sale

Jeffrey Licht, SIOR, senior VP at NAI Mertz and chairperson of NAI Global's Industrial Council, represented the buyer, Impacting Your World Ministries in the sale of 2901 Chapel Ave. Colliers represented the seller, Congregation Beth El, in the sale of their 73,500 s/f synagogue/community and school campus on 10 acres. According to Licht, the property was sold for $5.05 million. For Congregation Beth El, the sale proceeds will fund the final stage to consolidate its campuses into their new location at 8000 Main St. in Voorhees. Beth El had previously constructed an educational center on the new 10-acre Voorhees site. Construction of their new sanctuary, social hall and chapel is complete. Rabbi Krupnick is the Rabbi for Congregation Beth El, a long standing congregation in the Cherry Hill area. This will serve as a new site for Impacting Your World Ministries and an additional location to accommodate their expanding congregation. They will continue to utilize their facility in Philadelphia as well. The continued use of the subject property as a worship site maintains the character of the complex and alleviates any anxiety the community may have had with the possibility of new development. This is certainly a positive conclusion for the community and Impacting Your World Ministries, is delighted to have a ready made worship site and education center. Impacting Your World Ministries, Inc. will also benefit from the site's strategic location just off Kings Hwy. (Rte. 41), which provides access to the New Jersey Tpke., I-295, Rtes. 73, 70 and 38, and Center City Philadelphia. Pastor Ray Barnard of Impacting Your World Ministries was in search of a place where he could house his expanding congregation; provide school and day care services; and create opportunities for adult learning. Krupnick and Barnard appreciate the fact that two faiths were able to come together for a common cause and complete this move for both congregations to better enable them to grow and to serve their respective communities.
