Adams & Co. Real Estate, LLC brokered an 11-year, 16,000 s/f lease renewal at 48 West 37th St. for Ismael Leyva Architects, P.C., an architecture firm. The company occupies the full 12th and 13th floors, which will serve as the company's general and executive offices. David Levy and Joseph Friedman of Adams & Co. Real Estate, LLC represented the tenant and landlord. Built in 1926, this 18-story building features 24-hour access, and is located near Bryant Park between three major transportation hubs. The property's tenant roster includes MBI and John B. Murray Architects. Retail tenants include Ebi Fashion and Bingo. Ismael Leyva Architects provides a full spectrum of architectural services including residential, commercial, recreational and hospitality design. Project work ranges from high-end to mixed-use developments in both urban and suburban areas. The company practices green design by working with clients and environmentalists to incorporate sustainable initiatives in building design. Notable projects include The Westminster, Tribeca Green, and Astor Place. "Ismael Leyva is paramount in the architectural industry and has been extremely happy operating in what has become known as the Architecture Center," said Levy.
