Levin Management Corp. welcomes 20,000 s/f Planet Fitness to Commack

Commack, NY Planet Fitness celebrated the opening of a new, 20,000 s/f location at Mayfair Shopping Center. The 222,000 s/f property is exclusively leased and managed by Levin Management Corp. (LMC).

“Planet Fitness is a great complement to the tenant mix at Mayfair Shopping Center,” said LMC senior leasing representative E.J. Moawad. “Its high-quality member experience and affordable price point promises to make it a welcome new amenity for those who live and work in Commack and the surrounding area.”

The gym chain’s launch follows recent openings by bagel shop Bagel Toasterie and women’s apparel/accessories retailer Runway Clothing at the Jericho Turnpike property. “Mayfair Shopping Center is on a roll, with a sustained period of strong activity,” Moawad said. “In turn, the center’s evolving tenant mix is securing its position as a favorite shopping destination for area residents.”

Grocer Lidl and two additional restaurants (JBBQ & Shabu Shabu and Meet Bar & Izakaya) are coming soon to Mayfair Shopping Center, joining a lineup of national and regional tenants that includes Capital One Bank, Jos. A. Bank, The Crushed Olive, Loft, Music & Arts, Northwell Go Health, D’Ore Jewelers, Original Brooklyn Pizza, Outback Steakhouse, Prato 850, Rite Aid, Sherwin Williams, The Tutoring Center, Tropical Smoothie and Verizon Wireless, among others.
