Landis joins Robin Judson as a managing director

Robin Judson Partners, an executive recruiting firm focused on hedge funds, private equity and investment banking, has added Lorrie Landis as a managing director to its team. As a managing director, Landis will serve as a senior recruiter on the Robin Judson Partners team. She will be responsible for positions in research, marketing, trading and portfolio management. "Robin Judson Partners is the premiere search firm for asset management which fits seamlessly with my experience," Landis said. Prior to joining Robin Judson Partners, Landis served as a consultant for two major distressed credit hedge funds on strategy, fund structure and capital raising, which followed three years at the Tulane University investment office managing alternative investments. Her prior experience also includes: co-founder and managing general partner of a woman-owned long short credit and distressed hedge fund; nine years as partner, assistant portfolio manager and senior analyst at Caspian Capital Partners (Mariner Investment Group); and, ten years as vice president and associate in various capacities at Drexel Burnham Lambert in New York Investment Banking, before, during and after the firm's bankruptcy. Having held many senior roles in the hedge fund world herself, Ms. Landis has a passion for creating and promoting opportunities for women and minorities on investment teams and increasing their representation on corporate boards. Ms. Landis notes that coupled with new regulations that mandate diversity, major investors including endowments, foundations and pensions want to see the diversity of their constituents mirrored in the funds they are investing in. "We are thrilled to welcome Lorrie to the team," said Robin Judson, managing partner and group founder. "The passion, experience and judgment that Lorrie brings to this firm will be incredibly valuable to our clients."
