Lam, director of interiors for the New York HOK office receives award at Fifth Annual Women of Valor event

Juliette Lam, director of interiors for the New York office of Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum, Inc., (HOK), one of the nation's leading architecture and design firms, was honored with the Capuchin Food Pantries Humanitarian Award during its Fifth Annual Women of Valor Tea Charity Event on August 7. The event honors women in the real estate industry who have significantly contributed to the greater New York community.The Humanitarian Award, one of the organizations highest honors, is presented annually to a person who has consistently worked for the welfare of others and for social reform in the community. Lam is a member of HOK's three-person management committee for the firm's New York office. She works with corporate clients to develop innovative strategies for the workplace, as well as key interior design projects in the New York tri-state region.Lam also leads HOK's international Interiors Focus Group, which includes the firm's 24 offices worldwide. Lam has also long been active in New York real estate and civic community and is a member of the Board of Brooklyn Philharmonic
