Keeler Markwood Group invests in Peekskill property

Peekskill, NY Keeler Markwood Group, a commercial real estate development firm based in White Plains, NY, announced its purchase of 47 South Water St., a commercial building and home to the Peekskill Brewery. This marks the firm’s first investment in the Peekskill market. The sale price was not disclosed.

“The city of Peekskill is a burgeoning destination and we are proud to be supporting it's growth through local real estate investments,” said Matthew Tritt, principal of Keeler Markwood Group. “47 South Water St. is ideally situated on the Hudson River and is in close proximity to the train station. As owners of the building, our goal is to expand the entertainment and experiential offerings available at this prime location.”

47 South Water St. is a four-story, 14,000 s/f property. The first two floors are currently occupied by the Peekskill Brewery; Keeler Markwood Group hopes to expand the brewery operations across all four floors.

The property was purchased via direct sale between the former and current owners. Ian Lester, Esq. of Lester Bleckner & Shaw LLP was the legal representation for Keeler Markwood, while Tap P. Realty Corp. was represented by Philip Hersh, Esq.
