Kaufman Organization signs The Taub Law Firm to 7-year lease-1,815 s/f

The Kaufman Organization, recently brokered a seven-year, 1,815 s/f lease at 14 Penn Plaza for The Taub Law Firm P.C. The Taub Law Firm is a boutique Plaintiffs' personal injury law firm that has been successfully representing the injured and disabled for the past nineteen years. Its senior member, Elliot Taub, Esq. has been successfully litigating cases for the past 32 years. The practice represents people injured in motor vehicle accidents, slips/trips and falls, construction accidents, aviation and maritime occurrences, injuries caused by defective products, civil rights violations, and medical malpractice. Barbara Raskob of the Kaufman Organization represented the tenant, while Jay Futersek and Ephraim Elazary of Dakota Realty represented the landlord. Although the terms of the lease were undisclosed, the asking rent for the space was in the low $40's per s/f. "The Taub Law Firm is a practice that serves those that are personally injured from many different areas. 14 Penn Plaza, conveniently situated on 34th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues, is the perfect location for a firm with clients coming from all over New York," said Raskob. 14 Penn Plaza, also known as 225 West 34th St., is a 22-story building constructed in 1925 in Manhattan's Garment District. The 525,000 s/f building is accessible by the most major subway lines, the New Jersey Transit and Long Island Railroad. The Kaufman Organization, with 100 years experience and 5.2 million s/f of owned or managed space, has long been considered one of the most prominent and well-respected real estate companies in the New York metropolitan area. The company offers a fully integrated spectrum of leasing and management services to diverse owners and tenants and is continually looking to build its portfolio through property acquisitions.
