Kanaris of MJM receives $100,000 grant from NYCOER BCP

Manny Kanaris of MJM Construction received the first $100,000 grant from the New York City Mayor's Office of Environmental Remediation (NYCOER) Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP). The grant was coordinated by Hydro Tech Environmental, Corp. for the remediation of 920 Westchester Ave. The site was previously utilized as a gasoline station and warehouse. MJM construction developed the site with a mixed-use residential and commercial building with a community facility and a full basement. The grant was received during the Big Apple Brownfield Workshop held in November 2011.
