Millburn, NJ JRM Construction Management, LLC, (JRM) was selected to fit out two retailers within The Mall at Short Hills at 1200 Morris Tpke. The first retailer is a repeat client of JRM, Peloton, an exercise equipment and media company. JRM worked with CBRE, Howell Belanger Castelli Architects, and Thorson Baker & Associates to deliver Peloton’s new 4,260 s/f boutique. The other retailer is Versace, a fashion company founded in Italy. JRM collaborated alongside Alexander Zilberman Architecture, M-Engineering and Capri Holdings to deliver the 3,100 s/f high-end space.
In Peloton’s new retail showroom, JRM tackled the interior, including a new sales floor, lounge area, four equipment trial rooms, and fitting rooms. JRM also constructed back-of-house support areas, office and utility space, and restrooms. JRM coordinated the installation of numerous state-of-the-art digital display boards with fully interactive touchscreens that display Peloton’s latest products and equipment.
The new space features hardwood flooring throughout the sales area, specialty woven matt flooring for the trial rooms, and specialty decorative glass panels. The space also features a “Community Wall”, a green wall with electronic displays on it.
JRM has completed boutiques for Peloton throughout New Jersey including in Cherry Hill and Paramus.
For Versace’s new boutique, JRM transformed an existing retail space into Versace’s new high-end retail boutique featuring a sales floor and back-of-house space. The boutique houses an ADA-approved fitting room, VIP room, fitting room and cash wrap area. In addition, the boutique features a glass and marble storefront system. JRM is proud to bring quality services to both projects and create better retail spaces.
