Jones, Klein, Kosior and Plappert join; Lippi, Altenhofen and Jaffe are principals at RMJM Hillier

According to Peter Schubert, AIA, design director of RMJM Hillier, four industry experts have joined the firm: Chris Jones, RIBA; Roger Klein, AIA, design principal; Winslow Kosior, AIA; and John Plappert, AIA, ACHA. The firm has also promoted three members to principal. Jones, previously the director of RMJM's Edinburgh office, transfers to New York to oversee the newly-formed RMJM Hillier Urban Studio, catering to public and private clients developing large-scale projects. Jones specializes in dealing with the complexities of working in an urban context, sustainable and energy efficient design, and creating successful strategies that bring multiple stakeholders together. Klein, previously the design principal at Swanke Hayden Connell Architects, is an award-winning designer who joins the firm to advance design initiatives across the Global Education, Design and Specialty Studios. Kosior joins RMJM Hillier from Pei Cobb Freed as an associate principal and a specialist in curtain wall technology. Plappert, a healthcare industry veteran with 28 years experience, joins RMJM Hillier as an associate principal from his previous position at Karlsberger. The following individuals were recently promoted to principal: Mark Lippi, AIA, is the operations director for RMJM Hillier. David Altenhofen, AIA, is the technical design principal of RMJM Hillier, based in the Philadelphia office and responsible for the oversight and technical support for all aspects of architectural practice. Eric Jaffe, AIA, NCARB, is a principal in RMJM Hillier's Global Education Studio, specializing in science and technology projects and based in the Princeton office. RMJM Hillier is the North American division of RMJM Group, one of the largest architecture practices in the world with 1,100 people in 15 cities across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
