Jen Stencel, Magnusson Architecture and Planning, PC

Magnusson Architecture and Planning, PC (MAP) has promoted Christopher Jones, LEED AP BD+C and Jen Stencel, AIA, LEED AP to associates.
Jones brings over 6 years of experience to MAP. He has been involved in all phases of design and construction for both single and multifamily residences, commercial and retail spaces, and urban neighborhood planning projects.
Jones graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master of Architecture degree. He currently heads our office's CAD Committee developing and directing office Revit methodology for all phases of work. He has been a juror for many design reviews and was part of MAP's winning team for both the New York regional and national levels of the U.S. Green Building Council's Emerging Green Builders Natural Talent Design Competition in 2010.
Stencel brings 8 years of professional experience to the design and construction of adaptive reuse, rehabilitation, and new buildings. She enjoys bringing conceptual ideas to reality through the built form by working closely with owners, consultants, and contractors. As a Registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional her experience is with new and existing sustainable multifamily affordable housing, institutional and educational buildings.
Stencel is currently a co-chair of the AIANY Women in Architecture Committee. She received a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of Florida, where she served on the Architecture College Council and studied abroad at the Vicenza Institute of Architecture in Vicenza, Italy.
