Island Associates completes $1.215m sale and 900 s/f lease

Richie Buono of Island Associates brokered a transaction located at 270 W Main St. for $1.215 million representing both the seller and the purchaser. The property was a blighted three story building owned by Carro Associates that was in a deteriorating condition and was on the market for over 2 years. The purchaser Capital Management Development Corp. purchased the property to construct a 5-story self storage facility consisting of 50,000 s/f. The site is located at the intersection of Main St. and Rte. 112. Construction is  to commence this spring. Island Assoc. has also leased 900 s/f retail space to a flower shop named "Roslyn Ceremony Flowers Showcase." The deal was brokered by Peter Kim of Island Assoc. The property is located on 203 Mineola Ave., Roslyn Heights N.Y. Kim represented both the tenant and landlord in the transaction.
