Iskalo Development signs 19,000 s/f lease agreement with Bryant & Stratton College

Iskalo Development Corp. has signed a lease agreement with Bryant & Stratton College under which Bryant & Stratton's administrative headquarters will occupy 19,000 s/f of the first floor at Iskalo Development's newly constructed office building located at 2410 North Forest. The administrative offices are expected to open in October. "We are excited to have identified 2410 North Forest for our new office space, for a number of reasons," said Fran Felser, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, Bryant and Stratton College. "We've outgrown our current office and the large floor plates at 2410 North Forest make it an ideal choice for our growing operations. The building's energy-efficient, green design features will help reduce operating costs, while simultaneously providing a comfortable working environment for our staff. With 17 campuses across four states and an Online Education Division this move will allow us to be conveniently located to all of our campuses and Online Education Division." Located at the Audubon entrance to the University at Buffalo North Campus, 2410 North Forest is a three-story, 80,000 s/f, LEED Registered, class A office building with only one full leasable floor remaining. "Signing a lease with Bryant & Stratton College is a significant milestone as it further validates the decisions we made when planning the building," said Paul Iskalo, president and CEO, Iskalo Development.

Tri-state capital migrates nationally amid regulation pressure - by Reese Weaver

New York tri-state multifamily investors are increasingly reallocating capital to less-regulated markets across the U.S. as rent control and legislative risk erode returns at home. With over 60% of New York City’s rental housing stock classified as rent-stabilized, the traditional value-add model — buying under-performing buildings,
