Inserra of NAI Long Island honored by ABLI and CIBS with the 2014 "Distinguished Leadership Award"

The Association for A Better Long Island (ABLI) and the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS) presented the 2014 "Distinguished Leadership Award" to Carmine Inserra, principal of NAI Long Island. The award was presented to Inserra at the ABLI & CIBS Annual Awards Dinner at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park. Inserra was nominated for this award by his peers in the brokerage community. Carmine has been servicing the industrial and office needs of clients since 1978. Together with Pasquale Bagnato, Bagnato Realty was formed in 1980 which serviced clients throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties and the New York Metropolitan Area. In the early 1990's, Bagnato Realty formed a management division and after merging with several management firms, the company is now a full-service brokerage firm. In 2000, the firm climbed to new heights after becoming NAI Long Island, a member firm of NAI Global servicing Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. Today, NAI Long Island is a powerhouse brokerage firm with the ability to offer clients local knowledge and a global reach.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
