Zimmerman, Rosenthal, Rosen and Cannon of Lee NYC arrange 18,500 s/f lease to the Icahn School of Medicine

New York, NY The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai will open a primary care practice at The Ansonia, 2109 Broadway, at West 73rd St., offering high-quality, convenient care to the Upper West Side. The long-term lease was arranged by Leonard Zimmerman, Richard Rosenthal, Howard Rosen, and John Cannon of Lee & Associates NYC LLC (Lee NYC). Mount Sinai will take 18,500 s/f on the ground and second floors, where a team of multi-disciplinary Mount Sinai physicians will provide a wide range of primary care services including dermatology services. Conveniently located one block away from the West 72nd St. subway, Mount Sinai’s primary care practice will be easily accessible to patients throughout New York. “The specifics of this requirement created some great challenges,” said Zimmerman, whose team represented the tenant. “We worked closely with Mount Sinai and conducted an exhaustive search to identify the ideal location for their practice. This successful transaction was in no small part a result of the building ownership carefully listening and being responsive to the specific needs of Mount Sinai.” Jeffrey Roseman and Drew Weiss of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented ownership. The tenant is expected to take occupancy in 2017.
