YM/WREA participates in mentoring day at Baruch College; Spearheaded by YM/WREA Governor Ornstein and Weaker of Baruch College

On October 22nd, 22 members of the YM/WREA were each shadowed for the day by Baruch College students pursuing degrees in real estate. Mentors and mentees alike participated in a full schedule of real estate events including tours of 11 Times Sq. and One Bryant Park developed by the Durst Org. The program was spearheaded by Lindsay Ornstein, YM/WREA governor, in conjunction with Margo Weaker, director or external relations and student services at Baruch College. Established in 1948, with a membership totaling approximately 394, Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association promotes greater understanding and knowledge of the real estate industry among its constituents through its monthly luncheons and wide variety of philanthropic activities including New York Cares, Central Park Clean-Up Day, an Annual Blood Drive, among others, in addition to many social functions.
