YM/WREA honors Korren of Swig Equities and Himmel of Himmel + Meringoff

Two outstanding YM/WREA members were honored at the organization's "members only" luncheon on December 8th. The winner of this year's Young Real Estate Man of the Year award went to Todd Korren, senior vice president, director of commercial leasing, Swig Equities LLC, and Senior Real Estate Woman of the Year went to Leslie Wohlman Himmel, partner, Himmel + Meringoff Properties. Outgoing YM/WREA chairman Robert Fink presented Korren and Himmel with their respective awards. YM/WREA will hold their next luncheon on Tuesday, February 9. The guest speaker will be Mary Ann Tighe, Tri-State New York Region CEO at CB Richard Ellis Inc. Established in 1948, with a membership totaling approximately 400, YM/WREA promotes greater understanding and knowledge of the real estate industry among its constituents through its monthly luncheons and wide variety of philanthropic activities including New York Cares, Central Park Clean-Up Day, an Annual Blood Drive, among others, in addition to many social functions.
