Yahn, Brooks and Organ of Cushman & Wakefield represent Hyundai Motor America in $22.5 million acquisition

Manhattan, NY Cushman & Wakefield advised Hyundai Motor America (HMA) in the acquisition of a boutique commercial building located at 500 West 14th St. in the Meatpacking District. The multinational automotive company acquired the three-story building to expand its presence in the city.

500 West 14th St. is a freestanding building that occupies its own city block with frontage on three sides on 14th St., Tenth Ave. and facing the Hudson River and the newly developed Little Island Park. HMA acquired the building for $22.5 million. The seller was Duanco, Inc.

Cushman & Wakefield’s executive director Don Yahn together with Ian Brooks and Dan Organ represented HMA in the sale.

“This acquisition reflects Hyundai Motor America’s long-term commitment to New York and dedicating more resources toward its presence in the city. The building will provide HMA with further prominent branding in one of New York’s most popular neighborhoods,” said Yahn, who has exclusively represented HMA for more than 20 years.
