WSP F+K names Marseille managing director of Seattle office

Tom Marseille, PE, LEED AP, will assume the role of managing director of its Seattle office of WSP Flack + Kurtz. He is taking over the role from Henry Di Gregorio. Di Gregorio has been dedicated to WSP F+K for over 43 years, and will retain a leadership role at the firm, focusing on client service and engineering. Marseille joined the office in April 2010 as senior VP. Prior to joining WSP Flack + Kurtz, he was managing principal and practice leader for Stantec Consulting's Seattle office. A published author, frequent speaker and nationally recognized advocate for green buildings, Mr. Marseille has been the mechanical design principal on numerous award-winning green building projects, and has received two Society-level technology awards from the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). "The Northwest region is at the forefront of innovation in sustainability and high-performing buildings, and Tom is very active in these efforts," says David Cooper, PE, LEED® AP BD+C, President and Chief Executive Officer of WSP Flack + Kurtz. "He also has outstanding leadership qualities, which makes him a perfect fit for the managing director position." Currently, Mr. Marseille is overseeing a variety of project types, including: GSA USACE Federal Center South, Seattle, WA; National Park Service, multiple locations; PNA Blue Building (Living Building), Seattle, WA; Starbucks International Stores' LEED Certification; and Shinsegae Corporate Office Tower & Mixed-Use, South Korea. WSP Flack + Kurtz is a multi-faceted consulting engineering firm that has completed significant projects with internationally acclaimed architects for the world's largest corporations, developers and institutions. The firm's services include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, information technology, sustainability, architectural lighting design, and commissioning. As an integral part of WSP USA, the business can also provide a full range of multidisciplinary services, including structural engineering, transportation and infrastructure, and environmental and energy services.
