WNY NYSCAR to hold 8th Annual Awards Dinner

The western New York chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR) will hold its 8th Annual Awards Dinner and installation of officers' ceremony on February 12. This year's event will be held at the Buffalo Chophouse Restaurant, located at 282 Franklin St. with a cash bar at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. sharp. The swearing in ceremony of new officers will be followed by the presentation of several awards. Tickets may be purchased at a cost of $75 each by contacting any of the co-chairmen, on a first come-first serve basis, as seating capacity is limited. Checks payable to WNY-NYSCAR. Valet parking will be available at the entrance of the Chophouse. Awards will be given for Lifetime Achievement, Meritorious Service and for the Largest Broker Assisted Lease and Sale Transactions of 2008. The 2009 recipient for the Lifetime Achievement Award will be Merle Whitehead, president and CEO of Realty USA. This year's Meritorious Service Award recipient will be Carl Calabrese, former deputy county executive of Erie County.
