Weissenberger addresses CoreNet New York City members

CoreNet Global N.Y.C. chapter's Women's Special Interest Group has hosted "Taking Charge of Your Potential: Be the Author of Your Life" on Tuesday, October 8th at Herrick, Feinstein LLP. In this session, Beth Weissenberger offered attendees personal and professional development, proposing a unique method to proactively guiding, rather than tracking, their achievements. Drawing on examples from the audience, Weissenberger, co-founder and partner at The Handel Group and radio personality, presented powerful but simple strategies to enhance their personal and professional performance. Emphasizing the importance of creating consistent and impressive results at work while maintaining success and balance at home, she said "In business, we have goals and deliverables, but as adults, we've stopped dreaming about our own lives." With the popularity of Sheryl Sandberg's Lean In, Weissenberger provides a unique counter argument, encouraging glass door leadership. She explains, "Being honest and transparent about your faults with co-workers will facilitate collaboration and productivity within your team."
