Wadler of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates leases 7,000 s/f for Gym Tech, Inc.
"Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates' Jacques Wadler arranged a 7,000 s/f lease for Gym Tech Inc. in the two-story warehouse property at 188 Varet St. in East Williamsburg," said, Neil Dolgin, executive vice president of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates.
Wadler represented both the owner, Vasso Systems, Inc., and the tenant, Gym Tech, in the transaction. Gym Tech Inc., a dealer specializing in new and reconditioned gym equipment including elliptical cross trainers, treadmills, exercise bikes, weight machines and other fitness accessories, will utilize 5,000 s/f as warehouse space and 2,000 s/f for offices.
"Gym Tech Inc. sought to relocate and expand from a smaller location in Long Island City. The warehouse at 188 Varet St. offers this growing firm a large drive-in door, 26 ft. ceiling heights, proximity to the L and J/M/Z subway lines and all major roadways," said, Wadler. "East Williamsburg has remained an attractive destination for industrial and manufacturing firms seeking value in the New York Metropolitan area."
