Vu joins MBA of NY Scholarship Foundation as new Board Member

The Mortgage Bankers Association of New York Scholarship Foundation (the “Foundation”) has added Mimi Vu, senior vice president – team leader and head of east coast loan originations at BHI (US Division of Bank Hapoalim), as a new Board Member. Vu will serve to support and advance the Foundation’s Mission by creating awareness within the New York real estate business community, mentoring emerging industry leaders, and through direct educational workshops with academic institutions.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mimi to our Board of Directors. Her extensive industry experience and unique perspectives will be invaluable as we continue to advance our Mission and strengthen our commitment to diversity and inclusion. This addition is a meaningful step in ensuring our leadership reflects the diverse NYC real estate community we serve.” said Richard Carr, managing director of Southwell Realty Capital, who serves as the Foundation’s chairman, has overseen the growth of the reinvigorated Foundation. 

“I look forward to being part of the MBA and help shape the CRE industry through diversification. It’s an opportunity for me to pay it forward by contributing to our CRE community through guiding and mentoring the young professionals who are looking to have a successful career in this industry," said Vu.
