Vanderbilt Realty secures GoFresh 365 for 10,000 s/f Bayside retail site

43-20 Bell Boulevard - Queens, NY

Queens, NY Vanderbilt Realty has brokered a 10,000 s/f lease for 20 years for the former Rite Aid location at 43-20 Bell Blvd. in Bayside to GoFresh 365, an East Coast Chinese and Asian supermarket chain with over 10 locations.

Vanderbilt Realty represented the property owners, Fantam, LLC.

The property has a 65-car parking lot, walk-in refrigeration, 10,000 s/f basement with 8-ft. ceilings, and is located north of Northern Blvd. The tenant will be spending $5 million upgrading the store.

Director of leasing, Lyle Alper said, “This was a rare opportunity to represent a highly sought-after space and secure the ideal tenant for the property owners. By prioritizing a use that serves the neighborhood’s best interests, we have ensured long-term stability for both the building and the community.”

A grocery store in the shopping district with its own parking lot will be a welcomed addition to the area. 

Bayside is a residential neighborhood with a population of over 68,800 people. Centrally located between the Clearview Expwy. and the Cross Island Pkwy. and near JFK (11 miles) and Laguardia (7 miles) airports. Midtown Manhattan 12 miles away.
