Urban Edge Properties signs Splendid to first east coast outlet

Paramus, NJ Urban Edge Properties (NYSE:UE) has signed Splendid to a lease for its first east coast outlet at Bergen Town Center. The 2,331 s/f store will feature womenswear, children’s clothing and footwear and is scheduled to open this fall. 

“Splendid is a highly-desired brand for the Bergen Town Center customer and adds a terrific new option to our apparel line-up,” said Chris Weilminster, executive vice president and COO for Urban Edge.?“By choosing this location for their first East Coast outlet, their team is validating our belief that this property is a top regional shopping destination.”  

“We are excited to open our first Splendid outlet location on the east coast at Bergen Town Center,” says Jim Walters, vice president of Retail for Splendid. “This opening will allow us to better serve our community and introduce new customers to the Splendid brand. We’re planning a unique product offering that will be special to this store and community and look forward to making Bergen County our new home.”
