Uniland Development completes 29-room expansion at Embassy Suites Buffalo

Uniland Development Company recently completed a 29-room expansion at the Embassy Suites Buffalo designed to accommodate more meetings and events. The additional 29 rooms occupy the 8th floor of Avant at 200 Delaware Ave., bringing the total number of rooms offered to 182. Work began in November 2010 and was completed on time to accommodate summer travelers along with a full calendar of meetings and special events. "The demand for hotel rooms coupled with increased banquets and meetings helped us make the decision to expand. Believe it or not the new rooms are already sold out," said Bryan Drew, general manager. "We couldn't be more pleased with the response from the Buffalo Niagara community and its visitors." Embassy Suites Buffalo was recently named to the 2011 Expedia Insiders' Select List that recognizes the top 1% out of 130,000 properties for delivering excellent service, a great overall experience and a notable value. "The hotel's success is a testament to the team we have in place, many of which have been recruited from across the country," said Michael Montante, vice president with project developer Uniland Development Company.
