Unger of KDA represents tenant in 25,000 s/f lease

According to Neil Dolgin, executive VP of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, Inc. (KDA), the firm has arranged a new, long-term, 25,000 s/f lease for TEC Systems, Inc. on the fourth floor of 47-25 34th St. in Long Island City. The new lease doubles TEC System's commercial space. Jeffrey Unger of KDA represented the tenant, while Peter Thorsen represented the landlord, 47-25 34th St. Associates Inc., in-house. TEC Systems has been engineering, installing, and servicing Automatic Control Systems since its inception in 1981. This is a relocation and expansion for the tenant from 54-08 Vernon Blvd., where they occupied 12,000 s/f. "TEC Systems wanted to remain in Long Island City due to its great accessibility to their clients throughout New York, New Jersey, Long Island and Connecticut," said Unger. "The property at 47-25 34th St. provides TEC Systems with room to grow while preserving their desirable Long Island City location." Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates is a 105-year-old, Brooklyn-based real estate firm. In addition to providing brokerage and management services, Kalmon Dolgin has acquired $300 million of its own real estate assets within the past year alone, primarily industrial and medical/office properties.
