Triumph Construction tapped for $37 million infrastructure project

Brooklyn, NY Triumph Construction Corp. was awarded the winning contract by New York City’s Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC) for a $37 million infrastructure replacement project on Flatbush Ave. in the vicinity of Sterling Pl. and 8th Ave. in the Park Slope neighborhood.

Triumph will replace trunk and distribution water mains and combined sewer and appurtenances. The company will also be responsible for new curb extensions, street lighting, and traffic signal work in addition to the redevelopment of the 8th Ave. Triangle streetscape.

One of the most recent jobs undertaken by Triumph Construction for NYCDDC was the Astor Place/Cooper Square enhancement project in the East Village, which brought 42,000 s/f of new pedestrian space to the neighborhood and included an extensive renovation of the cube-shaped Alamo sculpture.
