TrimWorld Inc. extends 11,063 s/f lease at 247 West 37th St.

Manhattan, NY According to GFP Real Estate, LLC, New York’s largest embroidery studio, Trimworld Inc., a WMBE-certified manufacturer specializing in custom embroidery on apparel, garments, accessory & travel bags, hospitality & home décor, has signed a five-year lease extension for its existing 11,063 s/f on the 11th floor of 247 West 37th St. 

Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, in the transaction; Travis Egenberg of Norman Bobrow & Co. the tenant. Trimworld Inc., which first moved in to the building in 2011, will continue to use the space for its general and executive offices.

“We are excited to see Trimworld extend its lease at 247 West 38th St in the Garment District. They have been a great long-term tenant that has continued to grow in recent years,” said Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate.

247 West 37th St. was designed by the architectural firm of Gronenberg & Leuchtag and built by the Bricken Construction Company in 1924, and so was originally known as the Bricken Centre Building. The 19-story, 271,000 s/f property has recently undergone renovations. 

247 West 37th St. is home to an array of non-profit and fashion tenants such as JASA, Workmens Circle and The Settlement Housing Fund. Located in the base of the building is Stitch Bar & Lounge which was voted the best "After Work Bar" in New York City by Citysearch.com. Situated in the heart of the historic Garment District, the building allows for a convenient walk to nearly any amenity, and numerous transit options are blocks away, allowing for a hassle-free commute to or from the building.
