TitleVest hires Castellanos

New York, NY According to TitleVest, a leading NYC-based title insurance agency and member of the First American family of companies, Rafael Castellanos has joined the team as a strategic sales advisor.

“Rafael brings 20 years of title insurance industry experience to the TitleVest team and is well known in the New York City market and beyond,” said Brian Tormey, president of TitleVest. 

“Rafael’s rich expertise together with TitleVest’s innovative technology and deep resources enhances our ability to serve clients in the New York area and beyond.”

Prior, Castellanos served as the founding partner, majority principal and managing director of Expert Title Insurance Agency, LLC. In this role, he managed all day to day operations of the full-service abstract company and managed resolutions for all complex legal and banking matters for clients.

A member of the American Land Title Association and the New York State Land Title Association, Castellanos has served on the executive committee of the latter organization since 2011. Castellanos has also volunteered as an active emergency medical technician for the Central Park Medical Unit, the frontline Emergency Medical Service for Central Park, for 40 years. He currently serves as president and co-chairman of its board of directors.
