Thru the Lens: Stern of JDS Development speaks at Downtown Dream Hotel PHD

New York, NY The Downtown Dream Hotel PHD was packed with over 600 top real estate professionals on August 15th to hear JDS Development founder Michael Stern discuss his approach to development leading to such success stories as Walker Tower, Stella Tower, American Cooper, and now his latest venture under construction on West 57th St.

Choosing architects able to impact the urban landscape has been a trademark of JDS’ success in the city. Stern gave insight into his development thinking from choosing partners, locations, and selecting the right architect. Joining Stern who was interviewed by Richard Perez-Feria, were Jeffrey Lam of Lam Generation, Ben Joseph of Related Companies, Jeffrey Winick of Winick Realty Group, Jack Schulman of The Kalikow Group, Alec Werner of Ceruzzi Properties, Giles Kuklina of Adam America, Joshua Weingarten of Triangle Equities, Ike Sutton of Thor Equities, and Madison Equities’ Robert Gladstone.

REDinNYC events are held monthly and have quickly become the go to event for the New York real estate industry to introduce and connect individuals and businesses through unrivaled networking opportunities. The “Fireside Chat” interview which opens each event, has thus far included Robert Gladstone of Madison Equites and this week Michael Stern of JDS.
