The Durst Organization appoints Aaron as leasing manager

The Durst Organization appointed Ashlea Aaron as leasing manager for The Durst Organization's 2 million s/f Midtown East portfolio. Aaron will oversee leasing activity at 205 East 42nd St., 655 Third Ave., 675 Third Ave. and 733 Third Ave. and assist with the leasing of the West Side portfolio as well. She will join Tom Bow, David Neil and the organization's leasing team to help chart strategy for the organization's 13 million s/f commercial portfolio. "We are delighted to have Ashlea Aaron join our leasing team," said Jonathan Durst, president of The Durst Organization. "With more than a decade of experience on both the owner and client side of the ledger, Ashlea brings a wealth of experience and innate understanding of New York City's commercial real estate market." "I look forward to working with Tom Bow and The Durst Organization's entire leasing team," said Aaron. Prior to joining The Durst Organization, Aaron was a senior managing director at Cushman & Wakefield where, in 2012, she received the Cushman & Wakefield Rising Star Award. At C&W, Aaron represented a diverse group of clients including, Callahan Capital Properties, Cohen Brothers Realty, Beacon Capital Partners, Equity Office Properties, MetLife, Metropole Realty Advisors, SL Green Realty and Vornado Realty Trust. Previously, she was a Financial Analyst/Associate Broker at The Vortex Group. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Finance from Colgate University.
