TGM expands institutional capital Anderson to lead

Tim Anderson

Manhattan, NY Tim Anderson has joined TGM, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager, to lead its institutional business development and capital formation initiatives.

Anderson brings more than 25 years of experience raising institutional capital across the alternative investment landscape. Throughout his career, he has successfully developed and managed relationships with public and corporate pension plans, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, family offices, and other sophisticated institutional investors.

Prior to joining TGM, Anderson held senior capital formation and business development roles at a range of prominent alternative investment firms, including Stark Investments, Trian Credit Partners, 3i Capital, Macquarie, One William Street Capital Management and Marquee Capital, a real estate investment firm within the Marcus Family Office.

His experience spans multi-strategy hedge funds, private credit, real estate, and other alternative investment strategies.

“I see TGM as presenting a compelling opportunity to combine an established, institutional-quality real estate platform with a significant opportunity to expand relationships with sophisticated investors,” said Anderson. “In the process of coming to know the TGM team I have been impressed by the firm’s experience navigating multiple real estate cycles, its disciplined investment approach and its deep sector expertise, which I view as providing a strong foundation for growth. I am excited to help broaden awareness of TGM’s capabilities and develop long-term partnerships with institutional investors.”

TGM has built its reputation through a disciplined and entrepreneurial approach to real estate investing. With extensive experience across market environments, the firm views itself as well positioned to capitalize on evolving opportunities as institutional investors increasingly seek experienced managers with demonstrated cycle-tested investment capabilities.

“Tim is a highly accomplished capital markets professional with a demonstrated ability to build meaningful, long-term relationships with sophisticated investors,” said John Gochberg, CEO & president of TGM. “His breadth of experience across alternative investments, combined with his institutional relationships and strategic approach to business development, will be valuable as TGM continues to expand its institutional presence and pursue new opportunities for growth.”

Anderson’s appointment reflects TGM’s continued focus on expanding its institutional investor base and enhancing its capital formation capabilities as the firm builds upon its established real estate investment platform.
