SWBR Architects was recently recognized by the Rochester Chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) with two Harley Hill Excellence in Lighting Awards for the Harris RF Communications Advanced Manufacturing Facility on Jefferson Rd. in Henrietta. SWBR received the Harley Hill Excellence in Lighting Award for Interior Lighting for the accent lighting of the main visitor's lobby, manufacturing areas and corridor to the observation deck.
SWBR received the Harley Hill Excellence in Lighting Award for Exterior Lighting for the main entrance, on Jefferson Rd. which includes features such as linear LED fixtures, site bollards and a spire highlighted by a continuous beam of red light that is powered by the world's first 96-watt, red-only LED fiber optic illuminator.
