Steel Institute Symposium held on September 18 explored advancement of multi-hazard engineering
The Steel Institute of new York held a symposium in cooperation with MCEER and the ASCE Architectural Engineering Institute, on emerging developments in multi-hazard engineering. The event was a one day symposium highlighting advances in this increasingly popular approach to engineering. The symposium took place on September 18 at the McGraw-Hill Auditorium.
Gary Higbee AIA, director of industry development for The Steel Institute of New York said, "We were fortunate to hear from nationally renowned experts in the area of multi-hazard engineering, a topic of rising importance nationally and in New York City. It has become of growing importance that our design professionals understand this approach."
