SMPS-NY Panel Discussion: Supplier Diversity – navigating diversity and compliance on public & private projects

New York, NY Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS-NY) will be hosting an upcoming information and networking session focused on enhancing diversity and inclusion in public and private sector projects.

This event aims to provide knowledge and strategies for meeting New York City and State requirements for public design and construction projects, which mandate goals for minority, women, or locally-based business enterprise (MWLBE) participation, as well as workforce targets for women and minority employment, as part of the project requirements. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about strategies to meet diversity goals
  • Identify ways to develop effective diversity compliance plans
  • Have a positive impact on the community

Distinguished speakers for the session include:

  • Michael Garner, chief business diversity officer at The City of New York
  • Wayne Lambert, director of supplier diversity, Turner & Townsend
  • Kimberly Hardy, senior vice president for diversity, inclusion, and compliance for McKissack McKissack
  • Jodine Miller, assistant vice president for diversity, inclusion, and compliance for McKissack & McKissack
