Sinon joins Cohen Brothers as vice president showroom leasing

John Sinon has joined Cohen Brothers Realty Corp. as a VP showroom leasing, according to president and CEO Charles Cohen. In his new post, Sinon, who formerly specialized in commercial brokerage with Capstone Realty Advisors, will focus primarily on design center leasing for Cohen Brothers' national real estate portfolio. In addition to over 10 million s/f of class A office space, Cohen owns the Decoration & Design (D&D) Building at 979 Third Ave. in Manhattan, the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, CA., the Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach, Florida, and the Decorative Center of Houston. Sinon boasts extensive knowledge and experience in the Manhattan marketplace, where for over a decade he served as Director of Leasing at the Lincoln Building with Newmark Knight Frank/Helmsley Spear. "We're confident that John will prove a valuable resource for our company as we continue to lease up and expand our portfolio," said Cohen. Sinon, 48, earned both his Bachelor of Science and Masters in Business Administration degrees from St. John's University. Charles Cohen heads a multi-faceted real estate development company whose signature New York properties include 623 Fifth Avenue, 750 Lexington Avenue, 135 East 57th Street, 622 Third Avenue, 805 Third Avenue, 3 Park Avenue, 475 Park Avenue South and 3 East 54th Street.
