Sherman of The Manhattes Group brokers $3.95 million sale of 7,920 s/f mixed-use property

Brooklyn, NY Michael Sherman of The Manhattes Group brokered the $3.95 million sale of 1215 Myrtle Ave., a 7,920 s/f corner mixed-use property in the Bushwick section. The four-story building is comprised of six residential apartments and one retail space currently home to Birdy’s Bar. Sherman was the sole broker representing the seller a local investor, and procuring the purchaser an investor who was in a 1031 exchange. “The seller spent a considerable amout of time and resources upgrading the retail and residential units,” he said. “We were able to procure an investor in a 1031 exchange who recognized the long-term value of a corner asset in an up and coming sub-market of Bushwick.”
