Shenker of SERHANT. reps. Gluck in 2,400 s/f lease

New York, NY SERHANT., a multidimensional real estate brokerage has represented Sammy Gluck, owner of 62 Orchard St. and the Global International Mens Clothiers, in the first-ever leasing of the 2,400 s/f first-floor storefront of the building to fashion company AWAKE NY; this will be the first brick and mortar location for AWAKE NY.

Gluck and his menswear shop were the subject of the Amazon Prime docuseries Luckies Guys on the Lower East Side. AWAKE NY will take over the retail space previously occupied by Global International Mens Clothiers. The company plans to preserve the history of the site while continuing its legacy of curating fashion and community.

Jade Shenker, licensed real estate salesperson at SERHANT. represented the landlord in the leasing; AWAKE NY was represented by Lindsay Zegans, managing director at RIPCO.

AWAKE NY is expected to open later this year.
