Robert Strell

NYSCAR just concluded Ed Smith’s CIREC course which ran August 17 – September 1. The 22.5 hour program covers “Working with Office, Retail and Industrial Buildings, Leases and Green Concepts, Working with Investment Properties, Financial Analysis, Taxes and Exchanges; Discrimination Issues in Commercial Real Estate; Ethics & Agency, Land & Site Development, Comparing Investments, Brokerage Issues and Building your Commercial Business.”

Many thanks to past president Smith who is a well-respected member of the NYSCAR faculty and did a great job teaching the program. Several attendees were able to get a good foundation as they enter the commercial real estate profession and it was a good refresher for those who are more seasoned practitioners.

NYSCAR places an importance on educating the membership. Therefore, we are pleased to continue the benefit of offering courses via Zoom which are free for NYSCAR members. If you would like to take any of the courses below, please email Sherry Marr at [email protected]

Robert Strell is president of NYSCAR and is an associate real estate broker, real estate consultant with Hanna Commercial Real Estate, Rochester, NY
