Suffern, NY Real Estate Forum magazine has named Castle Lanterra Properties' (CLP)  founder and CEO Elie Rieder to its “50 Under 40” list for 2016. The publication describes this year’s winners as the “cream of the crop,” selected from more than 300 nominees representing the best and brightest young professionals in commercial real estate today. Formed in 2009, CLP is a privately held real estate investment company focused on the acquisition and management of quality income-producing multifamily properties within strategic growth markets throughout the United States. The firm owns and manages a portfolio in excess of 7,300 multifamily units valued at more than $1 billion. Rieder is directly involved in all of the company’s investment and property management activities, drawing on nearly two decades of experience as a real estate investor, owner and manager. In his role as CEO, he has imparted a philosophy of robust and in-depth market knowledge, thorough due diligence, and hands-on operations and strategic management. He also has forged strong third-party relationships, resulting in his company’s ability to identify, structure and close potential investment transactions with speed and decisiveness. “I am pleased to have been honored by Real Estate Forum and included among such impressive company,” said Rieder. “CLP’s portfolio has grown considerably within the last few years and this recognition reflects the success of the entire Castle Lanterra team, and their tireless dedication to pursuing opportunities that meet or exceed our strict investment criteria.” “The pool from which we chose this year’s final 50 was an impressive one,” said Sule Aygoren,ALM’s editor-in-chief. “This year’s ‘50 under 40’ are not only making their mark on the business, but are also on the path for stardom in the commercial real estate arena.” The full list of 2016 “50 Under 40” winners will be unveiled this month in Real Estate Forum’s annual “Career Issue.”
