Philips International has signed Rugged Sole, Inc. to a 1,075 s/f lease in Washington Court, a five-story, 57,826 s/f, condo/retail building in the West Village. Located at 364 Ave. of the Americas, Washington Court is home to a variety of existing retail tenants including Urban Outfitters, OMG, Radio Shack and Gothic Furniture. Rugged Sole adds a men's and women's sneakers store to Washington Court's retail mix. Philips International was represented in-house by Daniel Richman, leasing associate, and Steve Rappaport of Sinvin Realty represented Rugged Sole. "In relocating from West 8th St., Rugged Sole chose the Washington Court space due to the inherent synergies with the building's other apparel retailers," said Richman. "In addition, Washington Court is in an outstanding location with extremely high exposure from street traffic and building residents. We expect Rugged Sole to be very successful in Washington Court," said Richman. Based in New York, Philips International is one of the country's largest private owners of office, retail, residential and hotel properties.
