Razavilar joins Duval & Stachenfeld as partner

Duval & Stachenfeld LLP revealed the addition of new partner, Pejman (Pej) Razavilar, to its real estate practice group. Bruce Stachenfeld, co-founder and managing partner of the firm, said, "Pej is a great all-around real estate attorney. He has significant experience in representing banks and other financial institutions in all aspects of real estate finance transactions, including the origination, sale and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine and also has significant experience in construction lending. In addition to his real estate lending experience, Pej has also represented money and operating partners in a variety of joint venture transactions, including preferred equity transactions." Razavilar commented: "I am very happy to have joined Duval & Stachenfeld's 50-attorney real estate practice in New York. The deep and broad real estate experience of the D&S team makes this a great place to practice." Terri Adler, co-founder of the Firm and chair of the Real Estate Practice Group, stated, "Pej brings a broad range of expertise, from real estate lending to joint venture transactions. Prior to joining Duval & Stachenfeld LLP, Mr. Razavilar was an associate in the real estate department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
