RAC NYSCAR holds 20th Annual President’s Dinner and Awards Ceremony

Rochester, NY On November 18, 2021, the Rochester Area Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (RAC NYSCAR) held its 20th Annual President’s Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the Casa Larga Vineyards and Winery.

  • Co-recipients of the Commercial Realtor of the Year award went to Harry Gleason and Patrick Wahl, both from CBRE|Rochester, for having demonstrated excellence in the Commercial Real Estate profession.
  • Deal of the Year-Sale award went to Paul Schiliro from Hanna Commercial Real Estate.
  • Deal of the Year-Lease award went to Michael Palumbo from Flaum Management Company Inc.
  • Ginny Squire, Coldwell Banker Commercial Custom Realty, was honored with the Meritorious Service award.

2022 officers and directors, some new and some extending their terms, were voted in. Dara Rennert will be the 2022 president, Christopher McCarthy will be vice-president, Anthony Cashette continues as treasurer and Pete Gillett will be secretary. We welcome Matt Drouin as a new director. Alex Amorese, Peter Burke, Harry Gleason and Christopher Passero continue as directors for 2022. RAC NYSCAR thanks the departing president, Ginny Squire, for her service during her tenure on the board.

In remembrance, RAC NYSCAR honored Bernie Fallon and David Flaum, who passed away in 2020, and Nancy Baroody and Doug Burkhardt, who passed away this year. All were treasured colleagues within the CRE community and are dearly missed.

Once again, we held our Silent Auction to benefit RAC NYSCAR’s Education Scholarship Fund available through RAC NYSCAR and the gracious support of the Glazer Memorial Foundation in honor of Larry Glazer.

The Rochester Area Chapter of NYSCAR is a group of approximately 115 commercial real estate broker and affiliate members dedicated to promoting the interests of commercial real estate professionals in the Rochester Region.
