Podell and Shalom of Cushman & Wakefield lease 9,655 s/f to MINISO at 5 Times Sq.

Manhattan, NY Cushman & Wakefield arranged a 9,655 s/f lease for MINISO at 5 Times Sq. The global lifestyle retailer will occupy space on the ground and second floors.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Joanne Podell and Michael Shalom represented the tenant in the transaction.

“MINISO’s newest retail space in Times Sq. marks a significant milestone for the global brand as it continues to expand its reach and connect with customers around the world,” said Podell. “In this prime location, MINISO is perfectly positioned to offer its unique shopping experience to the millions of daily visitors that flock to Times Sq.”

A brick-and-mortar retail chain, MINISO is located in more than 105 markets across the world with more than 5,400 storefronts, including a location at 490 Broadway in the SoHo neighborhood. The brand recently opened six new stores in Texas and Florida.

5 Times Sq. is a 38-story property spanning over one million s/f of office, retail and hospitality space. The property is located near the Times Sq. – 42nd St. subway station, providing connectivity to Manhattan and the surrounding areas. Additionally, Port Authority, Bryant Park and Penn Station are in proximity.
