Palmerton Group joins GZA GeoEnvironmental

According to GZA GeoEnvironmental Inc., The Palmerton Group, LLC has joined the company, significantly expanding GZA's capabilities in the New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio markets. The Palmerton Group, LLC is an environmental consulting company with a primary focus on the oil and gas industry, expanding GZA's expertise and staff in that growing market. The Palmerton Group was formed in March 2002 by David Palmerton, Jr. The entire former staff of The Palmerton Group, LLC will join the staff at GZA and the founder will become vice president in GZA. The Palmerton Group has provided consulting services to energy companies throughout the New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio region. With a focus on domestic energy resources, the expansion of GZA's expertise and staff will bring enhanced services to existing and future clients. The Palmerton Group, LLC has been delivering environmental and scientific expertise to clients for 10 years including environmental litigation support, environmental assessments, risk management, environmental compliance and remediation of pollutants and hazardous materials. The firm's founder has worked on many of the largest environmental projects in the United States, including the Kalamazoo River Superfund Site, the General Electric Pittsfield Plant and Housatonic River sites, and the Lower Fox River Site in Wisconsin.
