Manhattan, NY Private equity and structured investments firm Palistar Capital has signed a lease for 13,800 s/f at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, expanding from 8,000 s/f at 600 Fifth Ave.

In renewing its lease, Palistar Capital was represented by Silvio Petriello and Tim Freydberg of CBRE. Tishman Speyer was represented in-house by Blythe Kinsler, Samantha Augarten, and Ben Epstein.

Palistar Capital is a private investment firm based in New York City, specializing in digital infrastructure and communications and the global telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) industry. Since its founding in 2019, Palistar Capital has deployed billions of dollars across a range of assets, building a track record of transformational investments.

“This renewal underscores the enduring appeal of Rockefeller Center as a premier destination for world-class companies,” said EB Kelly, senior managing director at Tishman Speyer and head of Rockefeller Center. “We are proud that Palistar Capital continues to recognize the long-term value in being part of our dynamic campus, and we look forward to supporting their continued success.”

Rockefeller Center is a global icon, built nearly a century ago as a “city within the city.” Today, under the stewardship of owner and operator Tishman Speyer, its collection of art deco buildings surrounding the world-renowned Plaza and Rink together comprise the city’s most dynamic destination to work, play, dine, and shop.

One of Tishman Speyer’s best-known properties, 45 Rockefeller Plaza is situated among icons such as Radio City Music Hall, NBC Studios, and the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Palistar Capital’s team will benefit from Tishman Speyer’s global amenity program, ZO, which offers global access to high end lounge and work spaces, wellness services, and experiences at Tishman Speyer properties around the world. At Rockefeller Center, ZO amenities include exclusive pricing on attractions such as The Rink, The Beam, and Skylift; and perks at retailers such as J. Crew and Rough Trade, as well as dining options including Smith & Mills and Daily Provisions. Customers also enjoy access to the ZO Clubhouse on the 33rd floor of 1 Rockefeller Plaza as well as Radio Park, which has  become a favorite destination to relax, collaborate, or socialize.
