Outside the Region: Gilbane Development Co. appoints Resetco as new senior development director

Arlington, VA Gilbane Development Co. has appointed Jeff Resetco as senior development director.  Resetco will enhance Gilbane’s capacity to develop student housing from a national platform in targeted markets, both on- and off-campus and through a variety of transactional structures, including joint ventures and public private partnerships. 

Prior to joining Gilbane, Resetco was a senior director with EdR/Greystar, where he oversaw the development of several P3 on-campus developments, including Southside Commons at Lehigh University, north campus residential and dining at South Carolina University, a live-learn residence hall and dining facility at UMass-Dartmouth, Maplewood graduate housing at Cornell University, as well as freshmen residence halls at West Chester University, East Stroudsburg University and Shepherd University. Resetco was also responsible for award winning off-campus developments, including 929 graduate student housing at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, four phases of the mixed-use development, The Oaks on the Square, Storrs Center at the University of Connecticut, and 605West – graduate student housing at Duke University. Prior to joining EdR, Jeff was responsible for managing design and construction aspects of office, multifamily and hospitality projects for the Peterson Cos., including a major role in the development and construction of National Harbor. He formerly was a senior associate at IBI Group-Gruzen Samton Architects in New York City, where he managed major educational and multi-family projects in New York and New Jersey. He received his master’s in architecture from North Carolina State University and his B.S. in architecture from the University of Maryland.
